Gratuity Policy
At Dingle Benners Hotel, we have a gratuity policy that is designed to ensure that all employees are fairly compensated for the excellent service they provide to our guests. Our policy is based on the principles of transparency and fairness, and it applies to all staff members who receive tips or gratuities from guests.
Under our policy, all gratuities that are left by guests are collected and distributed among our staff members based on a predetermined formula. This formula takes into account each staff member’s role and influence, the proportion of hours worked, and the department.
We can confirm that all gratuities received electronically or via room chare are dispensed to employees via payroll on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
The amount of gratuities circulated to employees is outlined in a written statement to each employee no later than 10 days after the payment of gratuities.
We believe that this system ensures that our staff members are rewarded for their hard work and dedication, while also promoting a collaborative and team-oriented environment in which everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.
